Day 1: Closed Workshops

At orientation, Veterans gather to pair up with a songwriter. The pairs split off, and spend the rest of the day reflecting on their service with their songwriter, one-on-one. This is private and moves at the pace and direction each Veteran chooses.

Day 2: Private Performance

Based upon the stories they heard during Day One, each songwriter crafts an original song as a tribute to the Veteran’s experiences. In the afternoon, Veterans, songwriters, Project D.R.E.W. alumni, family and friends gather at Barnegie Hall for an intimate performance of each song.
